also my speedo flickers from 0-60mph and then settles out to normal after that! is that normal with redtops?

ive had the car car a couple of days now and the eml comes on all the time flicking on and off! it dosent stall and it idiles perfect! any suggestions as im pretty new to vauxhalls :)
