could be a sign of the bottom end on its way out, TO EXTREMES THAT IS!!! | |

is there any way possible i can wire an oil pressure gauge and volt gauge from a calibra into a corsa? if so how as i want the oil pressure gauge | |

it taps when first started up and the i rev a little and it clears. where is the pressure release valve on the oil pump? | |

its got plenty of oil. ive checked it. i fitted the oil pump. i rebiult the engine before i put it in. all i need to know really is i#that does the oil light on a corsa come on when oil is low or oil pressure is low? | |

where is the pressure release valve? is that the one on the front of the oil pump thats the big bolt with the spring behind it? | |

check the pressure release valve isnt stuck open slightly .. will have to take it out and clean it | |

just got my redtop corsa on the road the other day. all has been fine but today its started tappin and the oil light comes on but if i rev it a little bit it clears. i assume its an oil pressure problem but its a brand new oil pump. |
