you need to strip down both sides and clean the adjuster strut...but as you are doing that its a good time to renew the brake shoes anyways and clean up the drum.....loosen off the handbrake cable before removing the drums !and after checking/renewing the system adjust the bake cable last .......

What could cause a handbrake to stick on?

A mate was driving to work this morning and the rear passenger drum kept on sticking on.

Any suggestions?
