thermostat would be under a tenner and you should be able to hear the fan kick in.

How much does a thermostat cost?

I'm not sure on the fan kicking in, i haven't really listened. Is it obvious when it kicks in ?

the heater problem is most likely to be a new thermostat needed mate.

and for your engine temp does the fan kick in to cool it down or not?

OK. Im beginning to get a bit peeved with my 1.2 Corsa 16V as recently had nothing bit problems. Thinking of selling as I cannot afford to repair major mishaps. Heaters don't seem to be working, they are like warm, but near enough cool. And My temperature guage seems to rise a bit lately, no higher than 97 degrees id say, then goes down to below 95. :mad:
