Sounds like a blocked matrix to me, I take it the engine temperature is still normal? Shame its winter really, just buy yourself an extra coat and save a days work

yeah, it's just about getting warm but not very warm like they should be. All pipes are hot in the engine, no pressure now. So i guess the matrix is slightly blocked? Would this cause it not to get as hot?

its a pipes off and drain job really. never changed one myself but a mates had the same problem and flushing it fixed it for about a year

ah rite, where's best to clamp the hoses or should i just drain it all out? Are they expensive new?

Yep it can, its a pain in the arse to change I think but you can take the pipes off it and flush it both ways with a hosepipe, will porbably work but might not last forever becuse it never fully unblocks

The pulley cable on the heat controller dial might have come off its clips, take the bottom passenger shelf off and have a look, simple problem mine had :)

Air lock?

try flushing the coolant and bleeding the system through with new coolant/anti freeze.

Hi, my heater in my corsa are oinly getting to a warm temperature no were as hot as it should get. It's got an xe in, plenty of water in expansion bottle, when you let the car warm up should there be pressure in the pipes so when you take off the cap the presure should be released? Or is it something to do with the heater matrix? If so how do i solve the problem? Thanks
