ooh i could do these with air tools in around 30-40 mins but it s harder without them and with a diesel it may take a bit longer as it is tighter to twist the rack with that engine m8

removing the track rod ends or removing the track rods?

never had much trouble changing track rod end on a b?

how long to do it do you think? oh and its got a nasty big 1.7 cdti i the bay

it can be a time consuming job but its doable the hardest part is removig the track rod ends. you will also need the car on axle stands and make sure yu get new bolts as these are stretch bolts i always did i could also do it for a price m8 if interested if not you will need a torx e18, 18 mm spanner and ratchet 13mm to drop the exhaust a bit nd the subframe needs removing

well think im going to have to change the rack on the c son as its got play in it, I know you can get them for about £60 of ebay but how difficult is it to change them anyone done it? got any tips?
