get hold of a saxo or 106 electric power steering pump of ebay! cheap as chips! thats what we are fitting to my friends mk5 zetec s 2.3 duratec conversion,
just need to wire it up to 12volt, switch 12volt and ground

Well i have the 1.2 16v with EPS and another without the EPS which im dropping an x16xe into so would have all the parts from the donor car. Surely its just a case of swapping everything over?

A guy does kits on Ebay especially for corsas to retro fit the epas.

It includes an adjustable resistor which can make steering from hard to easy.

As standard they use gearbox speed sensor to determine how much assist it gets, fitting it without the ebay kit would be a nightmare.

i'm doing EPAS conversion for my corsa (c20xe conversion too)

i just got all the parts from an EPAS model corsa to use in mine - collum, rack, dash loom etc

in order to fit it you need a blanking plate to help it fit, it doesn't just fit directly, but i believe i've seen a eletric powered power steering on a 20xe before.

Am i right in thinking that some models of corsa b came with electric power steering? How does this work? is it just an electric assist on the steering column? and has anyone fitted this to a non power steering car?

Any info would be appreciated
