My engine mod knowledge is limited but I suppose you are going in the right direction, chipping the ecu will not gain much not sure about the headers, anyone else got some input, still trying to mod mine.

So are you saying you are trying to convert a x14xe to a x16xe hard to understand. would it be simpler to drop a x16xe in with the ecu then mod that.

Hello, i am new here :)
i made a corsa 1.4 16v to 1.6
i bougth x16xe cranck and x16xe pistons(79.5mm)
i skimmed the head the compression ratio is nearly 11.2 and the head was ported and polished.
i am using x14xe ecu and the ecu is chipped and i am using mantzel intake.

i want to but x16xe chipped ecu and i want to use c20xe headers(change the flange)
is it give good performance?
what i have to do for good performance?
is x16xe ecu will give extra performance( i think x16xe has more ignition advance and more fuel)
Thanks too much friends
