Yep just surface thats all it was, I cant have looked at them after a drive. Back to almost shiny, few black lines on them but nothing worrying, cheers :)

Go out for a drive, doesn't have to be far, just a couple of miles, then take pics very soon afterwards so there is no chance for water to settle on the surface.

Then show us the results, at the moment all I can see on those pictures above is surface rust.

Ah ok yea it could be down to the weather last night, was awful. As said though, they have been pitted like that for at least since we got it, back in May....

Is that after being parked up during last nights heavy rain?

Thats just surface rust from water getting on the discs, its always noticeably worse after heavy rain.

As said, just go for a drive, just normal braking will solve that, only four or five applications and they will be fine again.

There's no way that car has been driven with brakes like that, unless you somehow managed not to use the brakes!

A good blast with some hard braking will get rid off that

Ive got discs all round, but I thought they only got pitted when they werent in use for a little while?

Pics -

Its on every corner :boggle: It also appears to be worse the further towards the bottom of the disc you get, i.e. contrast pic 2 vs 3
