Theres an O-ring behind the water pump but if the pump has started leaking then you will have to buy a new pump, theyre not expensive but change it before all the bolts get corroded by the water and it overheats when it runs dry.

I know someone who left it leaking and the water pump bearings gave way causing the timing belt to come off hence destroying the engine

Is there a gasket with this and does this usually go? Or is it common in x14xe's for the waterpump to go ? any help please, its either a waterpump or new engine lolz:thumbs:
