clamp that holds the backbox on i think other thing is your rubbers could be worn and stretched could try some new rubbers to hold the exhaust up a bit more | |

Well it could be the exhaust knocking on the rear axle. The more people you have in the car the closer the axle gets to it. | |

Ive got a Corsa, 1.2, X reg and recently the coil springs for the rear suspension snapped. I sorted it with some new ones (standard) and since then theres been a 'clunking' noise, which i reckon is the exhaust. The noise only happens though when driving over big holes in the road when i have others in the car, or when going down speed bumps. |
