I drove my cousins Corsa C SRi 1.8 and it has that steering that gets heavier the faster you drive.

Now thats

lol mine does that if i turn the wheel really quickly...

though i don't think that is a feature pmsl

Know exactly what you mean mate, feel like they're stuck to the road if you're sitting still

I just got my replacement pipe/hosework in, need to get a bit of will to be arsed to take the bumper off to fit it.

I think its nothing to do with your build...

At the time our Corsa didnt have PAS I was probably knocking on 17 stone and hitting the gym 5 times a week.....i STILL hated driving without PAS.

At the end of the day if you get used to a car with PAS its horrible going to one without it.

if you want a rack without pas..

get the one from an epas corsa, then you still got the short lock to lock, like normal, but it's heavy like having no pas

I much prefered mine when driving at speed and TBH the parking isnt an issue unless your a little weedy built guy.

im not the biggest build but after driving my corsa td without PAS and a polybushed front end anything with PAS is just so much nicer to drive

i guess it depends what your cars main use is going to be, i would still say its worth having be it your mates a beefy or a weedy guy

Ive got a PAS setup on my corsa LET thats been running with no belt on it for nearly a year since one of the pipes burst. Saves on Gym membership

Aye. When i took the PAS belt off my XE the next day i went to Doncaster over the cat and fiddle pass.

My tits and arms were killing for a week!!

The non PAS rack is lighter to turn than the PAS rack with no working PAS......if that makes sense

Aye mate thats right, i was towed to a garage in my 2.2DTi Vectra and fuck me im a big lad and it was hard work trying to turn a PAS rack without the engine on.

Amen to that. Currently waiting on a hose since one burst, not too pleasant to live with

Has he driven a Corsa without PAS?

I retro fitted PAS to our Corsa when I did the conversion, other than the conversion itself adding PAS was the best thing I've done to the car.

I can't see why anybody would want to remove it...unless its for ultimate weight loss purposes I guess?

yep and kind of pointless as having power steering does not take away from the feel just makes you look like a fool when you come to park

Which would be quite a bit of hassle I'd imagine
