i run mine with no power steering, bit of a cunt to park but i prefer the feel, and at high speeds i want feel! | |

Theres a bit of a nack to it, you have to be rolling, even if its very very slowly then the wheel gets way easier to turn. I still wouldnt reccomend it over a PAS car though, Im just too lazy to fix mine at the mo | |

Ive got a PAS setup on my corsa LET thats been running with no belt on it for nearly a year since one of the pipes burst. Saves on Gym membership | |

Aye. When i took the PAS belt off my XE the next day i went to Doncaster over the cat and fiddle pass. | |

If you take the belt off the pump on a car with PAS< it's heavy as fook. | |

yep and kind of pointless as having power steering does not take away from the feel just makes you look like a fool when you come to park | |

You can stop it working by taking the belt off the pump but to take it out properly you will need a manual steering rack fitting and the assisted steering rack removing along with the pipes and pump | |

needing to find out for a mate.hes got a corsa c20xe and its got power steering but he wants rid of it.what is involved in taking it out? |
