yeah the plug side is on top but the sensor os bottom drivers side | |

Its a 1.0 12 corsa b btw. Ive looked at the bottom of the engine on the drivers side and cant see it? Have i got to get under the car to see it? | |

crank sensor is easy to remove, 8mm bolt i think | |

You may disconnect the battery if you wish, but its not essential IMO. | |

EML would come on every nown and then, plugged it into a tech 2 machine and it says i needed to replace the AFM and the crankshaft sensor. then 2 days later the car cut out on me 3 times whilstr driving, i had to push the car off the road, and 10 mins later it would start, but as soon as the revs reduced, it just cut out. |
