Yeah e16se was before the c16se like superlite says. I have a e16se engine waiting to be rebuilt when I can be asked.

Make sure you get some spare distributors as these are a common fault with old vaxuhalls.

loafofbrett has done this conversion

e16se was in the pre-facelift nova GTE

think it was also used in some early facelift nova GSIs before the c16se came out.

just use corsa mounts and shafts, the wiring is pretty much the same as every other conversion i cant remember if the engine you have is early or late gsi/gte engine but if its the early one there is a 6 pin(i think dont hold me to it lol) black plug that has the wires you need to connect into the car,its situated in the nova near the bulkhead, gearbox side
so youd have to extend them to wherever they need to go

Picking up my new project at the weekend...its gonna be my Stage car

Its a 1.2 corsa, fully stripped down, uprated suspension etc and a re-built E16SE, lightened fly wheel, 292 degree cam, veriner pully, skimmed head.

One big question........any thing i should know before itting the new engine?

Anything you know...please let me know!
