Right well got it started its idling at about 1.2k and its idling rough and realy hisitant when i push the accelerator down.

But after having it started it wont start again unless i disconect the battery for a few minutes and then go again.

c20xe's dont have imobaliser's so wont be that..

the eml should go out when cranking - that isn't right, as if the light's turning off, it mean's it's not getting power when cranking...

Checked all the fuses on the bit under the lights switch.

Battery has been left off overnight and put on charge so will see what it does when my stepdad brings it back from his work.

Hopefully it will start and run fine and if so ill be putting my new cams in:lol:

if it was a imob problem you would ether get no fuel or no spark. Try the fuses, also try taking the battery off and leaving it for a few minuits, sounds like you have spiked the ecu.

Fro is right, check fuses after a big spark . It may have just popped one.

Doesn't sound like immobiliser issues, as normally the car will start for a couple of seconds then die.

Eml should flash if its the immobiliser iirc.

Have you checked any fuses etc?

Possibly an immobiliser problem then?

Yea eml is on so ecu is getting power and goes off when turning over so not pickin up any major faults

Right got it all sorted bar from it missing on one cylinder, ended up being a dodgy plug. So i changed it.

My step dad reconected my jumpleads up and the battery on my car sparked and since then the car wont start.

Its getting plenty of fuel and has a good spark, its trying to fire and is firing on once on one cylinder but wont actually start.

Anyone got any ideas?
