ahh rite.. so 25nm and 3 lots of 65 degree angle tightnings is fine then mate

It was due to a crack in the waterway, some people say it is a result of the way the head is torqued down - ie. too much causing undue pressure.

what do you mean by the porous head issues? tightening it wrong will cause a porous head?

You will probably get a few different answers depending on your take on it?

Initially it was 25nm then 3 lots of 90 degree angle tightening.

That was revised to 25nm then 3 lots of 60 degree angle tightening. (Apparently as a result of the 'porous head' issues)

SBD says with a standard gasket it should be 25nm and 3 lots of angle tightening at 65 degrees.
