The clocks or the cable?

I paid someone else to do the cable so can't really say it's easy! Clocks are a piece of piss though

Mine did this, I think your speedo cable is snapped. Pretty sure yours will be a cable speedo as it's only a year newer than mine. Get the clocks out and pull the small bit of metal in the middle, if it comes out it snapped and you need a new one.

No idea why the ECU messes up because of this.

mines a 1.4 8v M reg....think the fuse is ok....because the reversing light and cigarette lighter works

I had this with mine!! Turns out it was just a fuse. Something about the speedo working with the rev counter. Check your fuses (If yours is an electric speedo!)

On saturday my speedo stopped working!

And when i get into junctions...or put the clutch down the wngine will cut off by its self :S

Is it the speedo cable that needs replacing? And is it a hard job? :boggle:
