yeah the light comes on when the doors are open, what do you mean about the light in the boot? it goes on when open off when closed

im not 100% sure but i dont think theres any switch for the bonnet, i think it has been removed at some point as theres a holder thing for it but its empty.

i dont have my car here so cant check

selca is a make of car alarm but it is not the standard alarm, someone has had it fitted at some stage. Does the interior light come on and off normally when you open the doors?

if it does then how about the light in the boot (push the switch in to see if the light goes off.

Then look under the bopnnet for the switch there.

Chances are one of them is knakared telling the alarm the bonnet or boot is open

Its not a standard alarm then, is there a name on the keyfob?

The alarm should have switches on the bonnet, boot and doors. The boot and door ones are the standard vaux ones but the alarm should be wired to them. have a look to see if you can see those.

Have you got little black things near your sun visors, the motion detectors?
