the oil will prob have come from the rocker cover gasket mate and depending on how bad it is could cause the misfire

piston rings?

the misfire will be because the oil is shorting the spark plug

:boggle: on my x16xe. its running like crap. misfire all over the place. revs up and down like a yo yo.

changed spark plugs (4th plug was covered in oil :!) changed HT Leads (which worked fo 10 mins) But no joy.

the oil leak is concerning. need to get the head off and have a look.

what else could be causing this? EGR? ICV? Coil pack? Crank shaft?

help :(
