Vauxhall cam sensors

There's a page of cam sensors for most vauxhalls, fairly handy site too that one.

looking at this car on ebay, all looking good, says it runs fine, but has a problem with the "cam shaft sencor" :S, shall i still go ahead and buy it? is it easy to fix and how much would it cost roughly? is it affecting/damaging the rest of the engine? thanks, josh
