ok, really need help here, someone!! can anyone make me a small wiring diagram of how to join/ mesh the x12xe loom with the x14xe loom, just for the internals, not the engine side of things but how to join my the wiring for the other stuff in the car to the sport plug so it fits the sport ecu?

yeah, thought about this aswell, but il jus keep the electric pwer steering, should be fine, m8 had a 14 16v sri without powersteering and it was quicker that those with.

just a thought aswell what about the power steering? the 1.2 16vs are electronic and the 1.4 16v are pumped.

thing is,, yeah i can fit the negine no bother, and i get what your saying about pulling it through the bulkhead, but what wires am i still going to need? on my 12 theres an ecu behind the kickpanel and one on the side of the engine, do i leave the one behind the kick panel or replace it with the single sport ecu?

pull the entire 1.2 16v engine loom through the bulkhead after cutting off the ECU plugs. match up the wires you need and wire them to the 1.4 16v loom. you need to extend quite a few of them to reach. make sure all wires are soldered and covered with heatshrink. the wires you dont use from the 1.2 loom must be isolated so theres no power getting to them.

is it really worth it? the 1.4 is only abit quicker only when your high into the revs you can tell but not much more difference
