	we hav had a few customers come in with that problem. normally its just the bolts on the steering column that nee tightening as they work loose, this is a common problem on C's, also the UJ may be worn.

	if you go to vauxhall they may get some contribution paid thats if the warerenty you have wont cover it

	Mine did, I bought the car 3 years old with 1 extra year, didn't have to pay a penny, which was lucky as they said it would have been a few hundred quid.

	my nova does this but only aa slight knock while moving car back and forth. am off to a scrappys soon then will TRY change it lol. cannae be that hard.

	I have abit of a problem with the steering 'knocking' on my corsa c. I know the racks are big problems on these cars but i wanted some advice on if it just needs tightening or if it needs a brand new rack. The issue is if i rock the steering wheel from left to right from the centre you can hear it knock abit. Worse is if you hit a bump in the road while driving it also knocks. I live on a road that has a cobbled surface, so it sounds like the steering wheel is going to fall off when i drive down it. Will i need a new rack after all or is there just a bolt coming loose?
