Proper management is a much wiser decision than some piggy back ecu, as it can be easily remapped/moved to other engines/cars.

Tbh, the holding back/flat spot problem is probably due to it still being on a standard map.
Tho if its only when hot id try the CTS.

only does it when hot???

what about the daskchip piggy back ecu, mapped for £550, whats the advantages?

if its missing, id say its running rich really, but its hard to say without having a lambda reading.

id go for aftermarket management, can be supplied fitted and mapped for 850+vat

bargin!

unichip and remap
or aftermarket ECU

i run/ran a cossie 2wd webber one, its adjustable if you pull the top off it.

i have one of this at home, this isnt for my car, its for someone else

the car is fitted with dbilas throttle bodies, 264 cams, ported and polished head

when the fse shite boost valve was on it ran okay, but was over fueling

fitted the standard regulator, now every now and again (intermittant) , and low rpm to accerate and it will feeling like you are opening the throttle but theres no spark, then after a few seconds it will put you back in you seat

same it you rev it, is feels like its firing on 2, then revs up, again intermittant

is this due to running lean, not mapped to the extra air flow?

anyone else had probelms with these throttle bodies?

Weber Sierra Cosworth one, I think the 2wd is the one you need, 4wd might be ok.

Have a look on ebay.

My X14XE had this kind of problem, found that the vacume hose off the top of the FPR was really loose, so put a little insulation tape round the pipe stuck it back into the elbow off teh top of the fpr and its now working a treat

for a x16xe throttle bodied (dbilas ones) corsa

with FSE boost valve, was running rich and pured out black smoke on cold start

standard fpr has a problem where when you acceralte at low rpm the car like floods, (blogs down) then suddenly picks up

is running standard MAP atm, but need to get a decat and 4 branch before a remap, but need the regulator sorting first

what FPR to use????
