if not, the multi rib stuff works fine

Narrow v belt needs to be matched to the bottom pulley and alternator

I've got a late XE with the wide bottom pulley and need some advice. I've got the new alternator bracket from an 8v nova with the slider ajustment.

Question is, do i need to use a small bottom pulley or can I use the big pulley already on the engine?

If I need to change the pulley do I need to change the alternator to suit or can I use a wide belt alternator?

Many thanks

Oliver
