ive found the sump ones dont give an accurate reading of the temp due to being slightly cooled but acually being in there. the best place is as said in one of the oil galleries in the block. think they are allen keys

You have a series of M14 blanking plugs around the back of the oil pump, go in via one of those.

You can get adaptors from Demon tweaks that fit things like the sump plug thread and goto 1/8" npt (or bnf) thread to take the sensor, problem is that its prone to damage then.

just got maself some autogauges where do a fit the oil temp sender its a c20xe cheers
