i just bought some rear lights from someone on here and i connected them up, i thought it would be straight forward with just unplugging the old ones and plugging the new ones in.

the problem is when i put the main lights on my break lights come on and vice versa, the indicators work fine and so do reverse. i tried plugging the adaptor in the other way and some of the lights work properly and some dont.

any ideas
