Advances the timing to take advantage of extra Ron.

Probably not noticeable on the road tho.

Changes the ecu map to use either 95ron fuel or 98.
Depending on the plug

Yeah, the side with the black clip is the side that the plugs set to.
So 95 in that pic /\

i have a loom, so no hand book, and its not in the clip so i dont know which way round it is.
its set like this at the moment:

this is the 98 side

this is the 95 side, which has worn off.

does anyone know if this is set to 95 or 98????

Vaux Lad - "The side thats active is the one with the clips of the holder bracket. " does this mean that this is set to 95, according to my pictures??

Not sure on a corsa.
Probably near the header tank.
Only early 8v's have them

95 is unleaded, 98 is super unleaded, i guess 98 would be better, if u ever use super?

Hi have an sri loom with a 95/98 octane plug.
The trouble is i don't know what its set to.
When i look at the 98 side the 2 wires(brown/blue and brown) are to the left,
So when i look at the 95 side the 2 wires are to the right.
Can anybody tell me what it is set to?????
thanks...
