Its right next to the clutch.

It depends if the gearbox has a access panel in the bottom side to get to the clutch, as to whether you can do it with the gearbox still fitted.

It is quite tricky, as the box input shaft needs pulling out of the clutch plate, and then the cover springs compressing so you can get the clutch out.

Ive established its a flat type clutch so should be easy enough but what about the release bearing?where is that?

How hard to do? What tools will i need?
BTW the car is a x14xe with standard gearbox(whatever came with it when made! F13 Cr???):thumbs:
