Yeah, thats what I meant. But there a pretty solid material. You need to push them together so the gap closes.

Then slide the barrel on. Fiddly job.

stripped a midi moto last night in work and when whe went to put head/cylinder over the piston we broke the piston rings!

any tips on how we get them in the cylinder?

also the piston is 39.95mm will that be classed as 40mm?
