You can use your keys, but use the transponder ring from round the barrel, the chip and ECU from the scrappy car.

right so i have to go to a scrappy, and ask them for an x16xe ecu with a set of keys and a transponder?

You need to find a corsa in the scrappy that has keys to it. Or a tigra.

Unless you can buy another ECU with keys and transponder ring. Thats another way round it.

I think, but don't take this as gospel, you can get them de-coded.

My mate had to have it done for his LET conversion because he didn't get the keys.

There coded into the ECU, you need to get them from the car you had the engine from.

You need the black ring around the ignition barrell and the tiny chip in the key, think i havea pic somewhere.

right i have bought my 1.6 sport engine which i will be putting into my 1.4 sport next week.

i am now looking out for a 1.6 sport ecu! i have read that i need a transponder and stuff??

where do i get the ecu transponder and that from??
