Why not just got the scrappy mate? The astra loom will look a mess anyway :look:

well i know that, but unfortunately, the numpty who took his corsa engine out didn't. And he chopped it all up instead of unbolting it.

So does anyone know how to wire up the astra loom to the corsa?

Use the corsa ignition loom if you have it or go get one from the scrappy, will be alot easier than using the astra loom.

I'm half way through doing an XE conversion for a friend. The engine is in, wiring is done in the footwell, but he is using the starter and alternator loom from the Astra GSi.

I understand that when your using this part of the loom from the Astra, more wiring has to be done. At the moment I have a large round plug, a -ve battery terminal, and a 2-wire small plug coming from the starter and alternator loom, and I don't have a clue where they go. So I need some advice about them please.

A little bit further up the loom there are another 2 plugs, fairly big. Now i'm guessing they just go into 2 plugs coming off the injector loom? Because they fit.

Any help would be appreciated guys
