you can not fail a car for a loose battery it dose not even come into a test there is no where on the computer that lets you fail it

you are correct it's not a testable item but most people would advise that it's insecure

My second Corsa goes back in on Wednesday, failed on number plate light (now fixed), blown manifold, cat, and indicator stalk (mainbeam comes on). Quoted just over 200 to fix it!

my self i give the car a good oil change before its mot, pour some petrol treatment in your tank just before going to the garage,

wont fail for spongy brakes. so long as they have a certain amount of force they will pass. so you should be ok with v6s. check washer fluid and any other fluid obv all bulbs. if you are low on just springs you might fail for loose springs when they jack it up.

it could fail on items you cant check your self, track rod ends, rack wear, shocks, anything.
Good luck tho, im sure you will be fine.
