the bit you paint black has nothing to do with the light at all its only the chrome surround inside you spray not the reflectors. cost £5 for a can of paint wow.

for how much proper depos cost its not worth it and diy job isnt the same as it dont have the part in the light that reflects the beam back into the reflective part

it just needs to be slow heat on it so it doesnt crack and to let the glue melt thats why you need to keep checking it so you dont leave it in longer than you need to.

ok pal ill try that, just tried using a blow torch t warm the glue but itcracked the lense! only at the bottom tho so ill just run sum sealer over it

stick it in the oven for 10 mins and i used a butter knife on the edge to prise it apart . a screwdriver chips the glass a bit. just take all the bulbs out and put it in on low for 5 mins and just try a corner if its not softened put it back for another 5 until you can prise it apart
