the coolant temp sensor, on the water pump(which is for the ECU)

but now connected but fan still cutting in when igntion is put on, as if it was unplugged, so the ecu goes into safe mode and runs the rad fan

Which coolant temp sensor was unplugged?

The one for the gauge or the one for the ECU? Or was it the fan switch?

have check coolant temp sensor wires, all okay, what could cause this???
