you lock the cams and crank up with special tools, so thats how you time it up

can you not just mark positions of the cam and crank and then line up when you have put the new chain on?

Hi

I know that you need tools thanks any way but i was woundering if anyone had the intructions so that i can see the correct posstion of the camshafts and the camshaft.

Hi I have a 1.0 12v corsa b and the timing chain is rattling I have got the parts for it but I would like to know has anyone got the instructions of how to time my engine up.
