try the sensors and get the cat checked out that happend to mine

Well, it's only a guess as there are other sensors too which sould be at fault so it's only an example. Best bet might be to take it to a mechanic, especially if its just had a new cat fitted.

ahh kk how do i check if thats working tho?? or just buy a new one swap it out and hope for the best?

No, the cars lambda sensor which regulates the ammount of fuel that goes into the engine.

The lambda reading is done using a probe in the exhaust on an MOT test.

lamda reading was fine though its passed on everything except the CO reading :boggle:

What condition is the air filter in? Is it dirty/blocked?

may be catalytic convertor?mine was at 0.7% or something like that!only £70 for a new cat if u fit it yourself.

001 (co high on fast idle) exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive.

CO

Limits = <=0.2%

Actual value = 0.52%

any ideas how to get this down?????
