is it something my local garage can fix cheaper than vauxhalls? When starting the revs counter seems to jump up quite a bit too if that helps?

I was just driving along not too long ago and the airbag light kept flickering on and off. Then I took a corner and the airbag light is now stuck on... the horn works however. Any ideas people? Any help much appreciated :)
