The engine is of Ricky-Lee53 on here. Anybody now his car? any info would be great. | |

i know the bottom ends are solid enough. so long as its doesnt smoke or rattle then it should be fine. dave - going bank first thing monday then ill give you a call to sort the rest of money on the head:thumbs: | |

80k is nothing as long as its been looked after, and isn't blowing oil smoke etc. | |

just pulled my block to bits, it has done about 110,000+ miles and has been revved to over 8000 rpm for the last 20k miles. bores and crank are unmarked. | |

depends who its off really if its been ragged id rebuild it. depends if its a good one or not | |

ok mate will do, Ive been offered one with gearbox, loom, ecu, transponder and chip with 80000 for £200. is thats a good price? | |

there are 3 different looms. get the loom, ecu and transponder/chip from the car the engine comes from | |

you can but it will run better and be quicker on the proper ecu for the engine | |

Just wondering whats needed to swap and x14xe over to an x16xe? what problems will i come across? |
