relay and wiring all seem fine...

however, new development... its worse after the engine has been stood, then gets better...

still does the same when the pump gets noisy though while driving.

Better make 100% sure its that before you go paying quite a lot of a new one...

Relay/wiring etc fine?

tbh with a fuel pump, I cant guarantee the reliability of a used pump, so may aswell get new!

Northwich scrappy has a Tigra in. May be worth a go.

Diagnosed it as a fuel pump issue.

Maybe leads/plugs?

Dis Pack?

Surely can't be anything too serious!

Just had it out for a quick run now after a complete rebuild... (Been off the road since 2005)

There seems to be a slight bit of hesitation/missing under load and when coming off the throttle, but its not constant, its kinda hit & miss when it does it...

Straight road, 1 minute fine, next its a bit funny...

No EML, oil & coolant levels are still spot on.

The fuel in the car 'was' about 2 years old, just above the red... I've since filled it with a full tank of V-Power and a bottle of Red-X. The missing was happening before I topped up, and still is now.

Suggestions??
