if anything you dont want light steering with it, as its a cunt to control and when the pas is switched on on mine i often correct torque steer too much and end up all over the road. when its switched off and rack is just heavy it feels better, personally anyway

hydarulic power steering is on the bottom rack part and requires a pump on the engine . epas is built into the actual column and doesnt run off the engine so if you have it already you dont need to do anything at all on the engine side of things

I have done the Epas conversion from a 1.2 16v corsa, didnt like it as it was far too light and no feel through it.

My car has EPAS on it currently, but the engine that ive bought doesnt have it. What i would like to know is would it be easier to get rid of the EPAS on my car or add it onto the C20LET while it is out of the car? |
