I couldn't do it that way on mine as it was a 2.25" system with a reducer so a sleve wouldn't fit over :(

I had to cut a 4" piece of the original centre pipe off and put it inside the reducer on the centre pipe, and slide the decat over it, with 2 exhaust clamps.

Wish I'd had it welded. really.

You need to ask for an exhaust joining sleeve. I'm not too sure of the size, I took my de-cat in with me and asked the dude in the shop.

I had nothing but trouble with these. Kept blowing like buggery.

Most de-cat pipes need the existing cat to be cut out.

You can buy the metal sleeving from any local motor factors. The one I bought was £4. It is the same size as the exhaust, and has two bolts you tighten to grip the pipes.

It just clamps to your downpipe (like it did before) then it slides into the middle box and use a exhaust clamp.

I've just got a de-cat pipe for my corsa sport, but it didn't come with any fixings. I've looked on ebay and the de-cats come with a metal sleeve etc. Would i need to get hold of these bits or can i just use the old cat fixings? if i need to get the metal sleeve, where can i get one from?
