if its the timing chain, look into buying a new engine! i rang opel (im in ireland) and they said be prepared to pull out 1000euro!! i swear i shat myself!! now gettin a 1.4 16v engine for 450euro :D | |

i have that noise, could be the timing chain! usually comes on at around 3k revs, it aint actually coming from the clutch, its at the other side of the bay | |

Car in neutral - Push clutch in, noise usually stops. Let clutch out, noise comes back. | |
