ok, time for a bit more of the story.
the GSI lump is in a 1.2 merit.
all that is left of the merit wiring is the lighting part of the loom, ie the female side of the two plugs in the passenger foot well.
the rest is from the gsi.
the am i right in thinking that the immobiliser only uses signals from the transponder unit and doesnt care about the doors etc?

I am pretty sure that by-passing the immobiliser that's built in the ECU means programming the ECU, u cannot just get rid of it without programming...

it is putting out an error code 85 at the moment.

I have the right key/collom combo.
where is the immobiliser unit? is it built into the ECU or is it a different box?
I hate Electrics!

Does anyone know how to take the anti theft immobiliser system of a Corsa GSi as I am building a rally car and really don’t want it!
