under the rear seat theres a plactic lid. Remove this.
Depreasurise the tank 1st by taking fuel pump relay out and turning the car over for a few mins.
Under this is the fuel pump housing, remove the pipes and plug then tap the seal round and remove the lid, under that is the fuel pump and a float soltted down the side that measures the depth of the tank, remove the float (just slides out) and replace with a new one. plug it in and bingo your sorted.
Get one from scrappy for pennies

Just got my first car a 1995 Corsa 1.2i, seemed in excellent condition and went to stick a tenner of petrol in, put it in and went for a drive, the gauge on the petrol meter is still stuck on red and doesn't seem to be going up, any idea on how to sort this out??
Cheers.
