im plannin on fitting a performance inlet manifold with a bigger throttle body so the whole inlet will b comin off and the 1 i have brought (fitted to an x16xe lower inlet) will be fitted. have got the lower gasket (from the manifold to the head) its basically all set up ready to be fitted will just need to fit my fuel rail and injectors to the new inlet (from my old 1).

gsirick, do you want to remove the upper or lower inlet? Upper is easy, just remember to plug the hoses back after.

Lower will be a sod as you have a fuel rail in the way :D

Good thread but Robin mentions the little green gasket between lower and upper inlet manifolds. The C16XE doesnt have one like that, only the X16XE has a green gasket.

The C16XE has a fat rubber gasket which costs more :P
