Yes i've done it. Piece of piss. Use all the sensors and loom off your original engine as some have different knock sensors and lambda sensors. Engine mounts & gerbox all fit.
TIP: Plug the x16xe ecu, transponder and chip in the key all in while the x14xe is still in the car to make sure it all works and runs fine before swapping the engine. You can leave the ecu in as it's a very simular map to 1.4.

Yes it does (to my knoledge)
drops straight in.... gonna get 1 for my x14xe.... its bugging me now...
Quick enough but not to my liking... i want 1600cc

So ill need a x16xe with ecu and gearbox.Can i use the x14xe loom?And will the x16xe use the same engine/gearbox mounts?
