Just check your entire brake system - pads, discs, cylinders, shoes etc

I have this problem with my corsa too, but it only comes on when I go up hills, round corners and between 20-60mph.

Not really much of a job. You just need to pull the carpet back and then you can unbolt the whole handbrake of you need too with it released. The switch is on the back of it...

quote: No I don't think so, I think it's about average. I think... :o quote: I had a feeling it may have been the switch. So is it a big job then? How long would it take to fix? And i'm guessing I would need a buy a new switch :( :(:(:(

Then your handbrake light switch has got stuck... It's on the back of the lever and a slight pain in the arse to get to as you need to take the trim out to get to it.

I was told that could be what it was, but my break fluid is full, about the maximum mark actually, I think. I'll go have another look just now.
