Try giving it a good clean then pack in the good grease that comes with your new CV gaiter.. If it's still clicking, then change the joint before it falls off on you whilst driving..

You can sometimes try de-greasing it, then putting new grease in and a new boot.

But usually the joints fooked when its clicking.

just noticed a clicking noise has appeared on my corsa, it sounds like it coming from the front passenger side, the gaiter is split and has leaked all the grease. now its clicking when moving off and driving.

If i catch this now will i be able to just replace the cv boot with new grease in or would you say a new cv joint is in order?
