might be the fuel injector, had a similar thing with mine and it turned out the fuel injector needed cleaning.

Prob wont make any difference but disconnect the battery for 15 mins and try again.

Exactly same scenario for me with the 12v.

Been told it could be the idle control valve..... feels lumpy clogged sort of and then comes back to life. it does it in first aswell sometimes

used to be fine tho, when you put foot flat down it used to be smooth. its smooth on my other 2 corsas as i tested it

will put some tighter clips on it tonight and see if that helps

cheers

i would expect a car to be lumpy in 5th doing 30mph.....not v high on the revs, only just above idle surely? that wud explain the lumps to me

ok, car was lumpy when cold on idle

replaced MAF with new one

runs fine

now runs lumpy when at 30mph in 5th and you put food down

only thing i can think of is the clibs holding it in are loose and its sucking air in wrong, it sounds a bit louder then norma, like if air box is disconnected

any other ideas?

its a 1.2 16v
